Its going to be a long day of news

Well between the draft, last nights games and just other news....I have a lot to cover today ontop of the already busy day. The second day of the draft is today, and there are 32 more rounds today. Lets hope we find some "diamonds in the rough" today. I would look for a few draft and follow types and hopefully polished 4 year college guys from some smaller schools.
Anyways, onto some news:

• Johnny Cueto was named Reds Pitcher of the Month and Noochie Varner was named the Reds Player of the Month You can read about it here, at the Cincinnati Enquirer.
• 7 Dayton Dragons were named to the Midwest League All Star team. Jay Bruce is the only starter, but catcher Craig Tatum, infielder Mike Griffin, SS Eric Eymann, SP Johnny Cueto, SP Travis Wood and RP Blake Hendley also made the team voted on by the leagues managers. The Dragons have the second most players selected to the All Star team of any Midwest League team. You can read the entire article here, at the Dayton Daily News.
