Good
- Paul Janish is hitting .440, not bad for a guy who was supposed to be all leather.
- Jay Bruce is hitting .308, slugging .513 and has 6 extra base hits.
- Zach Ward has a 2.45 ERA, Travis Wood has a 3.12 ERA and 15 strikeouts in 8.2 innings.
- Philippe-Alexandre Valiquette has a 1.12 ERA through 8 innings.
- BJ Szymanski is hitting .152 and has 18 strikeouts in 33 at bats.
- Zach Ward has 6 walks and just 5 strikeouts in 11 innings.
- With the exclusion of Haltiwanger and Stott, the bullpen has been attrocious.
- 2-7 is the teams record.
Good
- Adam Rosales is hitting .321 and slugging .536 while getting on base at a clip of .424.
- Jay Garthwaite has 3 HR and 10 RBI in 9 games this season.
- Sam Lecure and James Avery have ERA's of 2.45 and 2.53 respectively. Lecure has 15 strikeouts in 11 innings.
- Homer Bailey has yet to issue a walk in 10.2 innings and has struck out 10.
- Camilo Vazquez has an ERA of 1.00 and 11 strikeouts in 9 innings.
- John Purdom, Drew Anderson, Mark Schramek and Cody Strait are all hitting under .200 in a combined 30 games.

- Joey Votto is hitting .343, has 3 HR and has 3 walks and just 4 strikeouts in 35 at bats. He is also slugging .686.
- Phil Dumatrait has only pitched one outting, but it was a good one. 1 hit, 5 strikeouts over 6 innings.
