BA Top Prospects by position

The Reds had the usual 3 ranking toward the top of the positional prospect rankings that are in the newest Baseball America issue.
At first base, the Reds had the #1 prospect in Joey Votto.
For corner outfielders, Jay Bruce ranked #3 behind Delmon Young and Billy Butler.
For RHP Starters, Homer Bailey was #2 behind Philip Hughes.

My opinion? Not sure you can put Billy Butler ahead of Jay Bruce. Butler can absolutely rake, but his defense is not good at all. Jay Bruce is a plus defender with a plus arm and can hit with almost anyone. As for Bailey behind Hughes, I guess that is all about which way you look at prospects. Bailey has the higher cieling, Hughes has more polish right now. I take Bailey every day of the week, but I could be slightly biased.
