2006 Season stats

Team League AVG G AB R H 2B 3B HR RBI TB BB SO SB CS OBP SLG OPS
RDS GCL .372 14 43 10 16 6 0 1 7 25 1 5 0 1 .413 .581 .994

Milton was injured for parts of the season with some type of elbow problem. He played DH for almost all of his games. Milton was a draft and follow from 2005 and coming closse to the 2006 draft he was projected to go in the 2nd round, but the Reds took care of him and signed him before the deadline. This team is pretty bare of legit hitting prospects due to the lack of 2006 high school draft picks, so Milton Loo was a very easy choice. Look for him to start next season in Dayton.

Top Pitching Prospect

Josh Ravin - 2006 5th round draft pick out of Chatsworth HS, CA.

2006 Stats (just for the GCL Reds)

Team League W L ERA G GS IP H R ER HR BB SO GO/AO
RDS GCL 0 1 4.29 7 6 21.0 21 13 10 0 10 22 1.86

Ravin had his numbers skewed a little bit by his last outing before being promoted to the Billings Mustangs where he went 1.2 innings, 3 hits, 4 walks and 5 runs. Prior to that outing his ERA was sitting at 2.33. Ravin has a "projectable" type pitchers body at 6'4" 195lbs at age 18, he should be able to pack some more size onto that frame and hopefully with that he can add a little more speed to his low 90's fastball. Like Milton Loo, I would say he starts his season in Dayton next year.

Be sure to check out the post below also if you missed it. I posted it really late last night.
